Set in a quiet rural village is an exciting holiday home, The New Inn 1730 is a fantastic converted old pub offering a unique experience for large groups to enjoy a weekend of celebration in style.

Dating back to 1730, this historic coaching inn is filled with incredible features throughout stone flooring, ancient timbers and a fabulous bar with beer on tap!

Be wowed as you enter this magnificent dwelling, welcomed by an array of activity rooms and things to do all within this space.

Spend a Saturday night discovering what this unique home has to offer, having your own private family party in the bar area, complemented by the original bar seating, a toasty open fire and a dart board, you'll never want to leave!

Alternatively, spend a quiet evening snuggled up on the large corner sofa in the sitting room, cosying up with the kids for a family film night whilst the teenagers head outside and escape to the converted stable, boasting a luxurious hot tub, sauna and games room for even more fun.

The commercial kitchen is an inspiring room to rustle up your best dishes with its contemporary amenities and amount of prepping space, whilst dinner parties can be held in the amazing dining room, with enough seating for the whole party, you'll feel like you're eating at a restaurant.

The historic town of Appleby-in-Westmorland lies in a loop of the River Eden and is overlooked by the North Pennines, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with the Lake District Fells showing on the western horizon. Set at the heart of the lush Eden Valley and steeped in history, this is one of the loveliest towns in the north of England and was originally the county town of Westmorland. Appleby is nestled between the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales, so guests can enjoy the contrasting scenery of these two National Parks, plus numerous walking and cycling opportunities as well as the fantastic leisure centre in the town. Appleby has a wonderful selection of quality independent shops, cafes and delicatessens selling locally produced food and crafts.
