The property

Three miles from the lake district national park rests this spacious 5 bed home from home, Tuxhills.

Nestled in the picturesque countryside setting of Melkinthorpe and offering comfortable sleeping arrangements for ten guests, Tuxhills makes for the perfect family or group holiday.

Move through to the games room with pool and table tennis table and on to a comfortable living room all with beautiful views over the Eden Valley and finally to the cinema room, which with its Govee immersion backlights and surround sound system gives you a true multi sensory cinema experience.

Venturing though the French doors you will find a covered terrace, over looking the Pennines, a beautiful setting to enjoy your morning coffee.

On the first-floor are five large individually styled bedrooms, 3 king-size one with an en-suite, a super-king or twin which ever suits your needs, and a double with built in wardrobes offering plenty of storage for your belongings and delightful views from each window.

There is also a family bathroom with shower over bath on this floor.

The village offers the renowned horticulturists paradise Larch Cottage Nurseries along with La Casa Verde Restaurant and The Red Barn Gallery showcasing the work of artists, jewellers and sculptors as well as an emporium of home and giftware .A mile walk or quick ride in the car takes you to Abbott’s Lodge jersey ice cream farm, a chance for youngsters to let off steam in their play areas.
