  • "Unfortunately the holiday coincided with one of the worst spells of weather I can ever remember."

The beach was inaccessible and and the coast line was barely visible due to the mist and storm conditions. I came to the conclusion that this made for an enforced rest and not even a brisk walk was an option in the strong winds. Good therefore to have a comfortable warm and well-equipped place in which to stay. I am sure it would be lovely in the Summer...

The only down side was just needed black out blinds in both bedrooms as it was very light early and would wake you Also maybe the to be able to change bath towels at a cost if needed apart from that a lovely stay with friendly staff

Great welcome pack, staff very helpful, great place for dogs. The flat is comfortable, clean and well equipped. Shop just underneath which is handy and Morecombe is close by. If you watched The Bay you will know that the coastlne has lovely views. A great value for money break.

  • "Great sea view, facilities excellent, comfortable living quarters just be wary of the low roof."

WiFi a little weak at times but we were made aware of this. Literally 15 minute drive to Morecombe and Lancaster for eating out etc. Recommend Willamson Park in Lancaster for some great views of the bay. My partner took the horses as there was a nice field to keep them in just a few hundred meters away and enjoyed a few runs down the beach in the morning. Also dog friendly. Tv in bedroom and living room although I Recommend taking your own dvd player and hdmi lead as I did to watch a movie if you plan an evening in. Very friendly people on site and the owners were very accommodating. Watch out for the rabbits on site too. Thank you We definitely recommend a visit Andrew, Kerry, Ella and nan Barbara

  • "Shorefields Two is in a great location for exploring the local area."

The apartment had a fabulous outlook to the sea. You had everything you needed for a super holiday. Wi-Fi was a little disappointing being the furthest from the hub. The bed (site side) was comfortable, the rooms were spacious, airy and clean. We had no issues with the shared access. Nice touch with towels for dirty paws. The Welcome Tray was superb and gratefully received. The downside for us were the angled ceilings and the bumps on the head despite repeatedly saying out loud "mind your head" especially when washing up or prepping food. Due to the heat we couldn't go out for too long with the dogs and yes there was noise from downstairs whether doors slamming or the residents meeting place in the shop garden - but it didn't spoil our time there the conversation added to the atmosphere. A really lovely site, the cows who graze on the marsh are great to see. The ferry across to Isle of Man became a feature, so did the Sunday air show of microlites, jet and other aircraft.

  • "Fabulous little apartment."

Very warm and cosy. Excellent kitchen and lots of seating. Very dog friendly and right on the beach. We visited in December so the weather wasn’t great, but once inside it didn’t matter. Shop and reception were closed, as we were out of the season, but the owners were only a phone call away and really helpful. We’d happily visit again, hopefully with some better weather.

  • "The actual place of the apartment is not in Morecambe or Heysham but in Middleton which is approximately 14 minutes outside the middle of Morecambe."

It is also on a caravan park. This however doesn't ruin anything about the stay the actual location is perfect for dog walking. The welcome hamper is AMAZING never had anything like it before. Don't be put off by there only being skylights as Windows as the views are out of this world. Can see Blackpool tower all out up across the water. The apartment was clean and tidy and felt like a home away from home. There was only one thing that was a minor niggle and that's there are 2 apartments together and you both Share the same entrance and of course exit, so if one or other is an early riser or a late returner you are very conscious of the fact you could be disrupting your neighbours especially if you have a dog that's inclined to bark!

  • "We felt the photo of the apartment was misleading as the shot is of the side and there is no indication of this being above a shop."

It was very noisy at the weekend as tables at the back of the shop were used to party. Apartment 2 had no windows overlooking the view of the sea and the sloping roof with skylights meant the roof was very low. This meant we banged our heads as there was little space, for instance at the end of the bed! The shower didn't work fully- only the hand held shower working. The place was not deep cleaned and surfaces were dirty- small tables, table with television. I am afraid the hamper didn't make up for the facilities. This is one we won't be visiting again

The beach was wonderfully quiet which was great for the dogs. No local shops /supermarkets/pubs so it was a drive out for food - would be ideal if the shop on site stocked enough to rustle up a bit of dinner. Welcome pack was a lovely touch.

Much appreciated welcome hamper on arrival saved a trip to the shop. Views across the bay to die for, coupled with a vast beach which Milly (the energetic puppy) enjoyed almost every inch of on her morning walks / runs. Shop downstairs for all the basics and a few more. Lovely seating area at the back of the building, shop is licensed so the views can be enjoyed with a cold beer or two. Highly recommended property, would definitely consider a return.

Well equipped kitchen, warm, cosy and comfortable accommodation. Welcome pack a sight for sore eyes and a very kind gesture as we arrived later than planned and it meant I didnt have to go back out shopping that night. Aldi and Morrisons on the sea front. Also the excellent indoot Festival Market. Nice clean revamped promenade and the Stone Jetty and Tony's Cafe very good. Good fishing off the end of the Jetty at high tide. A top class tacklr shop at Gerry's on the sea front. Follow the coast road into Carnforth, Milnthorpe, Sandside and Arnside. It;s just and hour to Fleetwood which has excellent beaxhes behind the sea defences. Behind thr apartmenr is a beach which you can drive on. There are wandering cows which go across to Sunderland Point. We were very pleased with everthing. You can even hire a Mobility Scooter on Morecambe sea front if your legs are giving out.
