"What an Amazing property."
The kitchen was fully equipped with enough for all 12 of us. 2 fridges which were definitely needed. It was a cozy home with great bedding for a good night's sleep. The location was perfect for getting out into the gorgeous countryside.
We will be back as soon as we can.
Thank you

"A comfortable house right in the middle of the village, very handy for the pub."
I was confused by the black lockbox in the boiler room which is the first one you see, then I found the real one when I turned to leave. We had really good weather but I can see a tumble drier being useful after rainy days and a house full of kids. With food for a week the fridge was crammed full but we managed. The beds were very comfortable, the lounge furniture too, one or two of the dining chairs need a spot of glue. Bathrooms very good. The tgree parking spaces are fine and a fourth car with our oarty used the electric charging facility in the car oark behind the old school. All in all a good week, thank you.

"Lovely cottage but a couple of light niggles that have been reported but not acted on, en-suite shower broken and difficult to turn on, electric over in need of a major clean."
No tumble dryer as noted in description and washing machine in boiler house, parking instructions should be made clearer in advance.

"We had a cracking week at Clifford House Farm!"
We loved the layout of the house and it's well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms/bathrooms all great. The patio was ideal for hanging out and had the odd breakfast, lunch or pre-dinner drinks there!
The hot and sunny weather meant we could make the most of the outdoors and enjoyed walks straight from the house and we spent hours with our 3&5 year olds paddling in the stream/waterfalls a few minutes from it.

"Lovely cottage, well equipped kitchen but could do with more cupboards for grocery storage seeing as nearest shop (Village shop closed all week) is 20 minutes drive away."
The cottage was in a beautiful location with classy touches to the decor, making our stay very welcome.
The bathrooms were perfect with the added touch of personalised towels and all the beds were extremely comfortable.
The cottage always felt warm and cosy with plenty of room for our 7 family members.

Plenty space and bathrooms for us all! Comfy beds. Large table in the kitchen where we all sat to eat and drink and we enjoyed the log burner and fire. Great place for walking up the dale or up the hills and good pubs dotted around. We will book here again when we are back in the area.

"Accommodation was just right for the family and allowed plenty of choice and space."
A couple of minor issues arose but they did not impede the overall enjoyment we had. Parking was good given we had three cars. The grandchildren had plenty of space to run around inside and the position of the house was ideal for exploring a range of places. Overall the house offered value for money and a good area for accessing some of Yorkshire's best scenery.

Perfect for our group of 8 adults and 2 children - Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone! The Buck Inn was just a 2 minute walk away and was great for a drink and a bite to eat in the evening. We would also recommend a walk to Starbotton (the next village). Great walk along the river and a lovely traditional pub in Starbotton to have a drink in before the walk back. Absolutely brilliant weekend, already planning the next trip! Thank you from all of us!

"Perfect in every way!"
Easy to find. Lovely village with a shop. Decent car parking, wonderful views. The house was superb - comfy beds, huge kitchen, spacious, airy, light, comfortable furniture, well stocked. Patio for evening drinks. Endless hot water for deep baths or torrential showers.
Walking right from the house, no need to drive anywhere unless you want to - and there is lots you might want to explore. But the walking was what we went for and there were rivers, flat walks, fells, waterfalls, pub walks ..... it was just wonderful! We took 2 dogs, who also enjoyed both the house and the walks.
There is no mobile phone signal in the village; this, for me, was another plus!
