The property

Set in the picturesque village of Lindale, Cumbria is a charming three-bedroom terrace cottage, 3 Tower View.

Boasting a delightful garden and off-road parking, while being close to local amenities and nestled at the southern edge of the Lake District National Park, this lovely dwelling is ideal for a small family or group of friends looking to explore this beautiful area.

As you step into the property, leave your coats and shoes in the hallway before making your way into the welcoming sitting room; here you will find a calming blue décor paired with characterful whitewashed walls, a Smart TV, two armchairs and a plush sofa you can look forward to cosying up on after a long day of discovering your surroundings while the woodburning stove gently warms the room around you.

From here, make you way to the kitchen/diner to rustle up some delicious meals for the group throughout your stay; the kitchen is home to an electric oven and hob, a microwave, and a handy washing machine to freshen up your clothes during your holiday.

Gather as a group at the dining table to enjoy your meals and plan the next day's adventures, before venturing upstairs to bed as the night grows darker.

Climbing the stairs to the first floor, three bedrooms greet you; two doubles, and a single, each fit with a Smart TV and a tasteful neutral décor, fitting with the white-and-wood theme throughout the cottage and allowing an abundance of natural light in.

Completing the interior of the property is a family bathroom where you can indulge with a good book and a bubble bath, as well as a shower over, a basin and a WC.

Outside, the garden really is the gemstone for this cottage; the multilevel lawn provides the perfect space for a picnic, while the bistro set tucked away amongst the trees offers an escape where you can savour your morning coffee.

If you don't fancy cooking one evening, head out to the local pub for some traditional pub grub; The Royal Oak is just on the doorstep of the property and offers a friendly atmosphere.

Venture into the popular town of Grange-over-Sands for more dining options such as Thyme Out Coffee House & Restaurant which offers a contemporary menu in a chic setting, or perhaps make your way into the town of Cartmel and visit L'Enclume, a Michelin starred restaurant for a more decadent evening out.

For days out while you're at the cottage, Holker Hall & Gardens makes for a tranquil day of strolling around the well-kept gardens while you marvel at the magnificent manor home on-site.

Racing enthusiasts will enjoy a day at Cartmel Racecourse, known for its rich history and hosting the National Hunt race meetings.

Why not make a trip to Windermere Lake and try your hand at watersports; here you can hire boats or take guided boat tours, as well as canoeing and kayaking.

The Lake District National Park offers ample walking and cycling opportunities around the lakes, through the rugged terrains and up the peaks, making the area as a whole an adventurers haven.
