Tucked away within the idyllic village of Thwaite, perched on the outskirts of the larger village of Muker, is this charming barn conversion property.

Resting within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Springs Cottage promises a splendid retreat for you and your loved ones to return to after a busy day exploring.

Upon entering the property, you are immediately charmed by the beamed ceilings that await you, as they quietly reflect the wonderful history of the cottage.

After a day exploring the Yorkshire Dales you can look forward to snuggling up within the sitting room, which offers a warming log-effect fire place and a TV with Freeview for catching up on your favourite shows.

Fulfilling your culinary needs is an amply equipped kitchen, where you will find all the necessities for a week long break.

As the evening draws to a close, follow the staircase up to find three elegantly presented bedrooms, comprising of a double with an en-suite, an additional double and a single bedroom.

Spend a moment or two within the shared garden area, perfect for letting your canine companion stretch his legs whilst you soak up the breath-taking scenery.

If you fancy a treat one evening, you will find a local pub within a stone’s throw from the property, offering a welcoming atmosphere and for picking up any essentials, head to the general shop situated within the village of Muker.

Muker is also home to a pub, tearoom, small village store and gallery/crafts shop.

For walking lovers, you will find the Pennine Way path passing through the village itself, offering a landscape stepped with history and spectacular scenery.

Alternatively, spend an afternoon exploring the Kisdon Force or cycle along the Butter Tubs.

Venture out to the market town of Richmonds, where you will find a wealth of amenities and attractions including a Norman castle, Georgian architecture, museums and monuments.

Muker is a village and civil parish at the western end of Swaledale, one of the Yorkshire Dales, in North Yorkshire, England. It is situated within the district of Richmondshire. From the late 19th century, Muker witnessed an increasing number of visitors and holiday makers, and today the village boasts many walking opportunities, with a selection of public footpaths in Upper Swaledale. Muker also hosts a village shop, a pub - The Farmers Arms, as well as an art gallery, craft shop and a café within the old school building. Originally the Vicarage, the Muker village tea shop was built in 1680 and retains much of its 'Olde worlde charm' today. A Park Information Point for the Yorkshire Dales National Park can be found at the Muker Village shop. The village has one church; the Parish Church of Saint Mary, a Grade II* listed building. The River Swale runs parallel to the village, with Kisden Hill offering a charming backdrop.
