  • "An amazing cottage, spotlessly clean and very well equipped throughout."

We had a lovely welcome pack waiting for us, which was so thoughtful. The cottage is only a 5 mins drive to the shops and a close walk to the canal, which left us invigorated. The games room has been very well thought out with something for everyone. We enjoyed spending time sitting outside listening to the birds, watching the occasional train go by and breathing in the country air. We've booked 2 more visits.

The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and the welcome pack was very generous. The cottage is situated perfectly for visiting the coast, the lakes and the dales. A problem occurred with a broken lock which was repaired in a few minutes by the owners who were both very friendly and even gave our granddaughter a small gift which she really appreciated. We would love to return but it is very popular and fully booked well into the future. Thanks again.

Great location for beaches and the lakes and lot of other attractions , we ran out of time to see what we wanted! The accommodation is fabulous! Comprehensive welcome packs for us and our dogs. Really thoughtful from dog treats to sweets for granddaughter and wine for adults! I have booked cottages for years and this one is outstanding from how well equipped to the quality of equipment. The games room huge hit after a day out not just the pool/tennis/air hockey table but board games as well. Bonus we could let the dogs wander in and out the garden as it was totally secure. Also within walking distance is the Carnforth Heritage Centre and next to it, a real find for ale lovers, The Snug. A trip to The Lakeland Car Museum (dogs allowed) is a must and we found trains and buses to Morecambe and also up to The Old School Brewery in Warton, another great find.
