    “Lovely Lodge with excellent views ...”
    Lovely Lodge with excellent views over the lake. The Lodge caters very well for children and the site has all the amenities a family could need. Location is good for visits to Morecambe, Windermere, Grasmere and Kendal. Great holiday was had by all.

The property

A welcoming detached lodge, set on a high promontory, with uninterrupted lake views, in the popular South Lakeland Leisure Village.

This delightful log cabin provides an ideal base for exploring the many delights of this beautiful area and enjoying the excellent facilities on site.

Featuring a large open plan living space, ideally located to enjoy the commanding views across the water, guests will find a cosy sitting area, a dining area and a modern, well-equipped kitchen.

The two bedrooms are comfortable and inviting, with the master featuring a lovely en-suite shower room, whilst the family bathroom provides the opportunity for a relaxing soak after a hard day’s hike across the nearby fells.

This log cabin provides that something extra, with a spacious decked area elevated towards the lake and having the benefit of all-day sun, a lovely place to sit and enjoy a few drinks and a bite to eat whilst watching the sun set.

There are many long and interesting walks available from the doorstep, in particular, the walk to majestic Leighton Hall, a must-see attraction.

Facilities on offer on site include an indoor swimming pool, steam room and gym.

There are also beauty therapy suites, and to unwind at the end of a day's pampering, a bar and restaurant.

A day trip opens up a whole new dimension to your holiday, with Kirkby Lonsdale, Kendal and the Lake District National Park all just a short drive away.

This is an excellent base for enjoying this varied and vibrant area, from Morecambe in the south, to the classic Cumbrian beauty a short drive north.
