Mrs Barker “Lovely comfortable accommodation with great views.”
Great sun trap. There was a good size fridge freezer and washing machine in the kitchen, really welcome when self catering. It was nice to be able to walk to the on site facilities, the pub and leisure centre were welcoming and well maintained. I also enjoyed the Spa. The site is well positioned to get out and about with Morecombe & Grange over Sands nearby. We also took our bikes and my son spent lots of time exploring the site, we also managed to get to Grisedale Forest for cycling, walking & Go Ape. Highly recommend

- Mrs Ingram, June 2018Mrs Horrocks “We really enjoyed our holiday.”
The weather was good and we spent lots of time sitting out on the decking with a lovely view of the lake. Bar & restaurant nearby where we had a couple of nice meals and also a few beers sat outside after returning from an outing. You do get some noise from the motorway but that would not put us off going back. The lodge was well equipped and welcoming. A nice bottle of wine was in the fridge which was a nice touch. Plenty to do in the area. We visited the Lakeland Wildlife Oasis which our grandchildren loved. Had a pleasant walk along Lancaster canal from Tewitfield Marina. Also visited Morecambe which is only 20 minutes drive.
