  • "This is a very tastefully decorated and furbished cottage retreat, highly recommend it to young couples etc."

who love walking, there are numerous choices and all within the area. Easy to get to Grange over Sands and lower Lakeland. High class supermarket in Milnthorpe and a splendid fish and chip shop in Arnside. The lovely estuary area is very near, we could glimpse it through the trees and the mountain range beyond. Delightful lambs and their mums were a joy to watch from the window. The owners, Julia and Gareth were very helpful and friendly/.

  • "This was a last minute booking literally the day before and Julie and Gareth could not have been better hosts."

Would recommend this little retreat for a quiet relaxing break with easy access to some lovely walks. Could not fault anything within the property and Julie was easy to get hold of if you had any questions and appreciated feedback in relation to the property. Lovely couple, lovely property and will definitely go back.
