1 Tower House is an attractive, ground floor apartment on a charming street in the village of Cartmel.

This property is stylishly decorated to a very high standard and offers comfortable and spacious accommodation in the heart of Cumbria.

The sitting room is a generous size but also has a cosy feel with a good-size dining table and chairs.

There is an electric fire and a TV and the room is furnished and decorated very tastefully.

On to the master bedroom, which is a spacious super-king-size double with storage space and a charming dressing table.

There is a galley-style kitchen complete with a breakfast bar seating area that also includes an electric oven, plus a fridge/freezer.

The bathroom is a shower room which has modern furnishings, including a basin and WC.

Spend lazy summer afternoons wandering around the village, perusing its charming selection of shops and collection of fine pubs and excellent restaurants, including the pub called the Cavendish Arms and Michelin-starred restaurant L'Enclume and Rogan & Co all sitting right on your doorstep.

The village racecourse is not far from the cottage and seeing the racehorses coming and going adds to the charm of staying in this area.

This property is just 2 miles from Grange-over-Sands, where you can explore the popular town and its coast.

Just fifteen minutes away are the shores of Lake Windermere where you can pick up a steamer and cruise up the lake to Bowness-on-Windermere and the pretty village of Ambleside.

This is a great base to explore everything the Lake District has to offer.
