  • "I took our own duvet when I learned that the one provided was 10 tog which is far too warm at this time of the year."

This seems to be the norm with all holiday cottages that we have been to. A choice should be provided at the time of booking. A parasol for the decking would have been appreciated as it did become too uncomfortable to sit outside when there was no shade.

Hi Gill, Thanks for your feedback and your comments on the duvet tog and parasol. This has given us some 'food for thought' and something we'll take into consideration. And thanks again for your kind comments in our guest book and those left on trip advisor:- "Exceptional holiday let". "The owners of Watch Tree Lodge go out of their way to make sure their guests are satisfied with their Lodge to ensure they have a happy holiday, This Lodge is probably situated on the best site at The Pastures and is very convenient for lots of attractions such as Holker Hall and Conishead Priory. The Pioneer General Stores in Cartmel is handy for Newspapers etc. We were very impressed with everything and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing and comfortable holiday".
