    It was so comfortable and stylish.We wanted for nothing as the apartment was so well equipped. A great base for exploring the Lake District. Some lovely shops,pubs and restaurants in Kendal.Would recommend Ye Old Fleece Inn for great food.

    Extremely clean and well cared for property. We highly recommend a short stay. The only downside is parking but get to the local carpark before 7am and it's only a £1 for 24hrs. The carpark is just around the corner so shouldn't cause any issues

    Centrally located with easy access to the town and the several riverside walks. The 7 day parking worked well as it meant we could come and go as we liked, as well as being able to use the car parking in other places around the area.

  • "We had a really lovely time at Castle View."

    It was the perfect time away. The kitchen is very well stocked including washing liquid etc, this isn't always the case with places I've rented before. We both really appreciated how clean the apartment was when we arrived. Our only comment would be about the size of the large towels, it would be nice if they were bigger. But this is a very minor comment on a beautiful stay. We didn't want to leave. The shower was awesome by the way, it was Fantastic! We will recommend Castle View to others. Thanks. Martin and Sarah.

  • "What a fantastic property and whilst there is no parking the car park we were advised to use is a 100 yards away."

    The apartment is really spacious and fitted out well. The bedroom was huge and the whole place made you feel like you had lived there for a long while. A great place to be. Kendal was a great base to explore the lake and the property was right on the edge of the town centre. Found some great restaurants in and around Kendal. Definite recommend from us

    Everything was spotlessly clean. The kitchen has all and more utensils and the flat is very tastefully decorated. Bathrooms are beautiful with a lovely shower. Just please have the kitchen sink tap repaired as the dripping waste a lot of water
