The property

Kirkby Stephen 5 miles.

A stone-built cottage located in the village of Outhgill, not too far from Kirkby Stephen and its abundance of natural attractions.

Set over three floors, this retreat is perfect for the whole family to enjoy.

The ground floor features a beautiful farmhouse kitchen, designed to an exceptional standard, with a dining table that seats up to eight people, and plenty of space to rest with a warm cup of tea in the early hours.

Boasting a contemporary feel, with patio doors opening out to the enclosed garden, you can spend much of your downtime simply relaxing here.

A bunk room is ideal for housing the children and a shower room completes the ground floor.

Wander upstairs to the lounge; a signature piece of the cottage, comprising a split layout that is almost a mirror image on both sides, with two sets of sofas for you to choose from.

A-frame beams, Velux windows and a woodburning stove promise to add a sense of charm to those cosy nights.

That's not all, with the addition of a Juliet balcony, you can stroll outside at your own leisure and take in the delightful garden views.

Three bedrooms are located on the next floor, joined by a family bathroom, which comes presented as an all-white suite, elevated by a free-standing bath.

The final double bedroom is accessed via another staircase, tucked away beneath a series of beams with calming views of the hills that invite natural lighting inside.

Situated between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks, the traditional market town hosts a variety of shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs to suit every taste.

Venture further afield to explore the wonderful Howgill Fells or the majestic Pendragon Castle and Brough Castle.

A scenic base which can be enjoyed throughout the year.
