“Genuinely can't remember if the site listing makes clear the number of stairs climbed to get to the flat - not a problem for us but might be worth stressing.”

We phoned to enquire if there was parking available, which there isn't. At this time of year it was easy to park on the street but it might be helpful to make this information clear on the property description. The Bluebird cafe/restaurant at the end of Lakeside road is a very lovely place to retreat and there are plenty of good places to eat in Coniston. The flat and the wider setting are lovely.
