  • “Enjoyed another visit here in this comfortable apartment.”

Only downside it is short on crockery and cutlery but we managed.

The property

This immaculately presented first floor apartment is superbly located in the heart of Coniston, in the spectacular Lake District, just five minutes' walk from Coniston Water.

Well-appointed throughout to provide contemporary accommodation, this apartment is perfect for a relaxing break in one of the most beautiful parts of the country.

The open-plan living area is welcoming and comfortable, and provides the perfect place to unwind after a long day exploring the fells.

The spacious king-size double bedroom with views across the village to the Coniston Fells, together with a superb en-suite bathroom complete this delightful accommodation.

Mornings can be spent in the small patio area, where you can sit with the paper and a coffee as you plan the day's activities.

This lovely property is situated next door to a popular bistro, well worth a visit but early booking is recommended.

The thriving village of Coniston has some excellent pubs and even has its own brewery producing Bluebird Bitter, and offers fantastic natural attractions including Lake Coniston where Donald Campbell broke four World Water Speed Records in 1950.

His fully restored Bluebird K7 boat is now housed in Ruskin Museum nearby.

The Old Man of Coniston offers a stunning backdrop to the village, and there are many walking routes from the apartment leading to Tarn Hows, Tilberthwaite and the charming village of Hawkshead, which has some interesting shops and is home to the Beatrix Potter Gallery.

Grizedale Forest is also on the doorstep, and is very popular for mountain biking.

This lovely apartment makes an ideal base for enjoying the delights of the Lake District, at any time of the year.
