  • "The Stables is a very comfortable, clean and well equipped cottage."

It is centrally located in Clitheroe, with parking next to the property and all that the town has to offer an easy walk away. Clitheroe is a very welcoming place with a good range of shops, pubs, restaurants and a fantastic market. Local buses are frequent and the train service runs hourly. What’s not to like. This is our third visit to the Stables and to Clitheroe and we'll be back to both again in the near future!

Thankyou Gaynor, glad you had a good stay and look forward to your return Property Owner

The ground floor has a well equipped, clean and spacious kitchen diner, with a proper dining table and chairs - thank you. Everything you need for self catering, with nice crockery and glassware. Spacious, warm and comfortable lounge. Upstairs, two immaculate and comfortable double bedrooms, one is particularly spacious. Good beds, pillows, linen and towels (even face flannels). The huge bathroom has separate bath and shower. This is a cosy, but not poky, cottage. The central hearing kept the whole place toasty warm in the cool evenings. Good, safe car parking by the side of the cottage. Lots of nice little touches by the owners, such as quality hand wash and lotion, welcome pack so you can have a fresh brew (with lovely biscuits) when you arrive or (my preference) a glass of chilled fizz!
