  • "The property is in centre of Clitheroe which we we liked, close to restaurants and cafes most of which cater for vegans, which was a nice surprise."

Lovely village- Waddington nearby worth a visit. The property is clean enough and comfortable but the was no vacuum cleaner or Iron provided it didn't bother me but it might others, especially if your clothes are really creased or you need to vacuum the floor. Outside yard needs sprucing up, a coat of paint, a few baskets and flower pots might cheer the place, I pulled the weeds out and bought some flowers to make the place looking a bit better, it was really depressing before when I sat there reading.

Find plenty of on-street parking in front of your new home-from-home where you can safely leave your car before stepping inside.

Drop your boots in the handy porch and follow the corridor down to the kitchen; smart, grey cupboards and amenities make for an elegant space to prepare your favourite dishes, with an electric oven, ceramic hob, and fridge to stock up on essentials.

The adjoining dining room hosts a table for four to plan the day's adventures over a hearty breakfast.

On warmer days, why not take your morning coffee out into the side garden?

This enclosed space is great for soaking up the sun with a good book on the outdoor seating.

There's also a convenient cloakroom to quickly freshen up in before heading for days out.

A great retreat all year-round, 2 Brook Street offers a snug sitting room with an electric fire; sink into the corner sofa and turn on the TV to catch your favourite shows in comfort.

Climb the stairs to find a gorgeous, contemporary bathroom, complete with bath and shower over, to end the day with a warm bubble bath before resting your head.

When you're ready to venture out, fantastic amenities and attractions await in Clitheroe; a pub, shop and restaurants lie nearby for all your self-catering needs!

Further into the centre, you'll find a variety of eateries, bars, and theatres for evening entertainment, whilst the hilltop, Grade I listed Clitheroe Castle Museum traces local history with picture-perfect grounds and a café.

If you're craving a rural escape and breath-taking views, 2 Brook Street is just next door to Pendle Hill with a Bronze Age burial site, as well as a quirky sculpture trail; discover unspoilt landscapes and endless walking and cycle paths through the Forest of Bowland to escape the hustle and bustle.

Turton and Entwistle Reservoir is a popular attraction just south of the town to stroll around the wooded shoreline and spot the local wildlife, before savouring a well-earned meal at the nearby country pub, Strawbury Duck.
