"Market Lounge is ab amazing place to stay and can highly recommend."
From the moment we entered the apartment we felt immediately at home. It has all the facilities you need, the most comfortable bed, cosy lounge with views and such a central location.
We received a lovely surprise on arrival with cheese, wine, chocolates and other treats which were very much appreciated.
We found Clitheroe to be one of the friendliest towns we have ever visited and is fast becoming the 'Food Capital Of Lancashire ' well deserved. Great place!
This is a five star apartment and we thoroughly enjoyed
our week here and hope to return as soon as possible! Thank you David and Pauline for your hospitality.

"I can honestly say Market Lounge is the best holiday property we have stayed in."
Credit to the owners David and Pauline. The video prior to our stay was a lovely idea. We were welcomed by David on arrival, and was assured we could contact them if necessary during our stay. Their holiday home is spotless, comfortable, and in a lovely location. The home has adequate kitchen equipment and is not cluttered with unnecessary items. It was good to be able to have empty cupboards to put our belongings. Thank you once again David and Pauline for a lovely 1st class stay in your beautiful home.

"Super Apartment, all the mod cons you could require."
We stayed for a week over Xmas 2023 and enjoyed every minute. The location is excellent,smack bang in the centre of clitheroe overlooking the Market and the forest of bowland beyond. Lovely and quiet in the apartment, great for a lay in. Many bars ,shops and restaurants right on doorstep. We spent many an hour gazing out at the view from the huge french style windows. Owners were super. Very friendly and nothing too much trouble. A very informative video was supplied by the owners prior to arrival about finding the apartment and parking etc. I would not hesitate to recommend, and return in the future.

"Our Market Lounge stay was wonderful."
The property is modern and spotlessly clean. Reserved car parking is within a minute's walk. The owners, David and Pauline, check in to make sure everything is ok and if they can help in any way (which they did by recommending a brilliant local garage when we had a small problem with our car). The apartment is also very well located with a view over the local market and very close to the shops, bars and restaurants. I think I've found my new favourite pub in the country - the Beer Hall (with the bonus of half price ales on Mondays and Tuesdays). We had never before been to Clitheroe or the Forest of Bowland but we are definitely coming back next year to stay here again.

"Pauline and David are wonderful hosts."
They sent me a video explaining where to park and an overview of the flat. Very welcome. The flat is in a lovely spot overlooking the market and all the amenities were perfect. WiFi was great. The bed comfy as anything. Good quality towels and bedding and all the utilities you`d need. Lovely bathroom with toiletries supplied though I had my own. Very central in town and would certainly stay again and will do, should I be working in the area again. 10/10

"Really welcoming, comfortable apartment, lots of lovely treats to greet us on our arrival, very central location, dedicated parking spot a real bonus, (although we didn’t need the car while we were there as so convenient)."
We appreciated very detailed information about the property in very easy to assimilate video format, prior to arrival from the owners. Would definitely consider staying again in the future.

"Advertised to sleep 4, but only 2 chairs at breakfast bar and no dining table for 4 people to eat together."
But property was very clean and kitchen well equipped.
Fine for 2 adults, but not really for 4 if you are wanting to dine in property.

"We really enjoyed our stay in Market Lounge."
It was spotlessly clean, stylish decor, well-equipped and centrally located for the shops, bars and cafes in Clitheroe. Also handy for walking in the Ribble Valley, Forest of Bowland and Pendle Hill. David, the owner, was very welcoming, meeting us on arrival and showing us round. The cheese, wine and other goodies were a nice touch and much appreciated. "Fabulous flat in excellent location with parking."
Everything we needed and very comfortable. Comfy bed and beautiful bathroom. Will happily come back. Would be tight for 4 people but perfect for 2.

"Arrived after a long journey to a warm clean flat, with a great view over the market and hills in the distance."
Homemade biscuits and a bottle of wine were very welcome. Very comfortable bed in a good size bedroom.
Kitchen was well equipped with full instructions on have to use the washer, very helpful !!
A flat which is a credit to the owner's care and attention.

"This apartment was perfect for our holiday."
The owner welcomed us warmly on arrival and we loved the central location, very quiet nights and peaceful days. The apartment was warm, very clean and well maintained; the bed was very comfortable, there was ample storage and all mod cons provided, including a well equipped kitchen. The nearby parking space was a bonus although everything in the town was within easy walking distance. We found it was a perfect base for exploring nearby towns and the very beautiful Lancashire countryside. I wouldn't hesitate to stay in this lovely relaxing apartment again - it really was a home from home!

"Just returned from a weeks stay at the Market Lounge and it's a great place to stay."
Warm welcome given by David. The property is charming, beautifully decorated and extremely well placed for visiting Clitheroe and the Ribble Valley. Very well equipped with a super comfortable bed and very clean. Pauline and David are only a phone call away if you need anything. Would highly recommend a stay here.

"On arrival, we were greeted by the immaculate, sweet-smelling and beautifully decorated apartment."
A bottle of champagne to calm down and celebrate topped up the experience. Everything we needed was at our disposal and the hosts - David and Pauline are such a wonderful couple, attending to all requests with a visit if required. They ensured we were comfortable and provided hand-written recommendations of what to do and where to visit. It’s a beautiful and safe neighbourhood and the lady downstairs is such a beautiful and charming lady. Thanks David and Pauline for making our stay one to remember.

"After a six plus hour journey, we were greeted by David at the property with a very warm welcome."
The property itself far exceeded expectations and was incredibly comfortable, packed with everything you could possible need, including an iron and a hairdryer! As an added surprise, David had left a bottle of wine and some cheeses, which went down a treat! Would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone.

"We enjoyed our stay at The Market Lounge."
Very clean, comfortable and well docorated apartment. The bed was especially comfortable. The apartment has the added convenience of being right in the centre of Clitheroe. Enjoyed the market, castle and interesting shops. The free parking was a major plus point. Dave the host was friendly and informative about Clitheroe.

"This apartment is ideally located to explore Clitheroe and the surrounding areas with good transport links (bus/train) a short walk away."
Local facilities couldn’t be closer, with the bustling market and local supermarkets on the doorstep and some quirky local stores to boot.
The apartment itself is immaculate and presented to an extremely high standard, with modern fixtures and fittings expertly blended with key features to provide a home away from home.
The hosts, were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble and they will go out of their way to ensure your needs are met (and exceeded!)
We have already recommended the property to several friends and family.
