  • "A perfect hideaway in a pretty and well-appointed cottage."

The wood burning stove and hot tub added an extra sense of luxury and relaxation. We were happy to have an internet-free week away and enjoyed the seclusion. Location was great for walking and the OS map on the wall was helpful (we were able to snap some shots on our phones and navigate our way to The Pack Horse Inn!). Owners and neighbours very kind when we got stuck in the snow on change-over day and helped us out with shovels, grit and coffee. We hope to come back and visit again.

  • "We wanted a quiet week just the two of us and this cottage was perfect."

It snowed the first night we were there and despite the freezing temperatures the hot tub was perfect. We went in every night and I even saw my first shooting star! We weren't disturbed at all the entire week, even though I know the owners were easily contactable. Hebden Bridge isn't far away for supplies, we stayed in the cottage most nights though as it really did have everything we needed. Wouldn't hesitate in coming back.
