  The lodge was fabulous for decor, cleanliness, space and not forgetting the wonderful views. This was our second visit and we have so many more places to visit and just love the lodge as it felt like home, so we will return again.

• "The cottage is really beautiful and modern, very nicely-decorated."

  The location is brilliant. Loved just looking out on fields of new lambs. Not too far from town. The only downsides is that the bed was very soft so not good for my back, and it would have been good to have a few basics for cooking (e.g. cooking oil, more than a single teabag each). Otherwise had a really lovely stay, and would recommend.

  My kind of place. We were left alone to enjoy our holidays which helped us relax and enjoyed our holidays we did. My kind of holiday. Settle is a lovely little market town with everything we needed, including carrots for our 3 neighbours. My kind of town. We will return to this property again and again and again.

• "The property was new, fitted and furnished to an excellent standard."

  The location was brilliant, set on a hillside with fabulous views. This was a great place to stay as a base to explore the Dales. (We even went to Lake Windermere for the day.....it's less than an hour away by car. ) The nearby town of Settle provides everything needed, with shops, pubs, restaurants and a petrol station. (Note to owner: Thank you for the welcome drink and provisions! just a small point; it would have been helpful to have a mirror in each of the bedrooms. )

  Hi Nigel Thankyou for the lovely feedback We are still adding finishing touches and the 2 x new mirrors have only just arrived !! So far I have been moving them between lodges but this time the bookings overlapped. I am so sorry - I will get them unpacked and put them straight in. We love Windermere too it’s great to set off up there early in a morning and get a parking space before the crowds arrive !! Such beautiful lakes, hills and views - glad you got chance to go …….. Property Owner
