About the property

With its superb location just one minute from the shores of Lake Windermere, this well-appointed Lakeland lodge is perfect for a family with up to two younger children.

The lodge is well-presented throughout and offers an excellent outdoor sitting area and access to all the benefits of White Cross Bay with its bar, restaurant, shop and leisure club.

From the private parking space, steps lead up to the raised decking and into the lodge itself.

The open plan sitting room is tastefully furnished with welcoming sofas and chairs arranged around the delightful flame effect fire.

A family dining table is a wonderful spot for sharing delicious meals, chatting and perhaps enjoying a board game or two.

Doors open from here onto the decking outside with patio furniture perfectly positioned for soaking up the sun.

The lodge’s kitchen is modern and well-equipped, with a breakfast bar and array of contemporary appliances including a wine fridge, all important dishwasher and washing machine.

The bedrooms are at the rear of the property with one double bedroom with TV and en-suite cloakroom, and a twin room with children’s twin beds.

A large family shower room comes with powerful shower, basin and a second wc.

White Cross Bay is highly regarded with its range of 5 star facilities including a children’s play area, amusement arcade, indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and gym.

It also has a useful shop, although with the villages of Ambleside and Windermere being just down the road, there is plenty of choice when it comes to stocking up on groceries, browsing the shops and enjoying the many cafés, bars and cosy pubs on offer.
