The property

A truly spectacular dwelling, resting in an idyllic position in the countryside of Cumbria on a non-working farm, Crake Trees Manor promises to be the ultimate abode from which to host any special occasion.

Catering to large groups of friends and family, this property boasts luxury and style from its impressive beamed ceiling down to its stone flagged flooring.

Making your way past the soothing sounds of the stream and through the front door of this impressive farmhouse, kick off your boots and begin to unwind as you make yourselves at home in the entrance snug area, a perfect spot to house your canine companions in the evenings.

Moving through into the living/dining room, take a seat at the rustic, wooden table and make the most of the countryside views as your backdrop from the impressive window, the perfect setting from which to spend quality time with your loved ones before relaxing in the quirky seating arrangements in front of the woodburning stove.

From here, take the staircase up, admiring the local artwork on the walls and the impressive selection of books on the bookcase settled in front of the table football to find a twin bedroom with its own en-suite basin and WC and a king-size at the opposite end of the corridor, boasting an en-suite shower room; the perfect hideaway for a family or four.

The kitchen/diner is of equal delight, with a breakfast at its centre where you can all gather to toast to a wonderful holiday, or sit together at the table for an evening of board games, before taking a seat in the conservatory area in the room with a good book in hand and an abundance of natural light filling the room.

From the dining area, stairs lead up to two sleeping spots of both a triple room with three singles and a king-size, both sharing a delightful bathroom and a snug spot to sleep five.

The further three bedrooms can be found in their own secret spots accessed via the courtyard, with two ground-floor doubles with their own en-suite shower rooms, and a further double accessed via flight of stairs with an en-suite freestanding bath, they make great spots for the couples of the group.

Outside the wonder of the property only continues, with miles of uninterrupted countryside lands and glimpses of the Eden Valley, the wood-fired hot tub makes the perfect spot to soak in your surroundings when you're not relaxing with a rewarding beverage in hand in the courtyard.

Be sure to bring your bikes along too, so you can explore the beauty of Cumbria from a different view, or head out on foot and roam the River Lyvennet, before seeking out a beverage in the local pub.

There's many walking and bike trails in the area and so make sure that you explore the area, anyway that you wish.

Shap can be found in easy reach, hosting all the local amenities needed of a general store, eateries, and even a swimming pool and playground for the little ones to delight at, or venture further afield to Penrith where a wider host of amenities awaits, as well as rich history in the Penrith and Eden Museum and its castle, alongside the beauty of the Thacka Beck Nature Reserve.

With so many wonders to be discovered in the area including the Dalemain Mansion & Historic Gardens, Lowther Castle & Gardens and the Aira Force Waterfall, you'll never be far from the excitement whilst staying at Crake Trees Manor.
