“I already signaled that Cloverdale cottage is very well equiped and comfortable but unfortunately there is a smell of fuel downstairs due to the water heater.”
A person of Sykes tried to phone on my fix number in France and sent an email. I gave my mobile phone but have not been called back.
Thank you for your feedback, I can see we did attempt to call during your stay. I am sorry but we were unable to get hold of you. Please call our office if you need to discuss with us further. Kind regards, Sykes Holiday Cottages. - Sykes owner relations

It was good to get a phone call from Syke's on arrival to check we were happy with the cottage. Loved the cottage and it's peaceful location. Although it was still only a short drive to the many attractions of the Lakes.
We spent 3 days at Cloverdale Cottage as part of 3 weeks touring the UK and we were delighted with the accomodation. The cottage had everything you need (except towels that is ). It was cosy and warm with peaceful views over the valley. Nearby pubs ptovide a night of cooking if you want. We loved it and have recommended it to English relatives.
