The property

A superb, stone-built barn conversion, set within the grounds of the owner’s Grade II listed Georgian manor house in the peaceful village of Cumrew, amongst the glory of the Eden Valley.

Luxuriously appointed throughout and radiating traditional country character with original beams, trusses, stone walls and shutters, The Hayloft is ideal for groups wishing to gather together and discover this delightful area, described as the Lake District's hidden gem.

The Hayloft provides two spacious bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities.

The cottage has a sunny, ground floor entrance hall with utility and cloakroom, two first floor bedrooms and a light and airy open plan living area with sumptuous sofas and toasty woodburning stove.

The grounds surrounding the cottage are stunning, with the walled garden a delightful place to sit and enjoy some peace and quiet with a glass of wine.

For those with a bit more energy, grab some rackets from the cloakroom and play a set or two on the immaculate tennis court.

With plenty to see and do in the local area, your cottage is perfectly positioned for visiting historic Hadrian's Wall, the Eastern Lakes and the Scottish Borders.

Whether you are looking for peace and quiet or wish to spend time out and about amongst the beautiful surrounding countryside, The Hayloft is perfectly positioned for that long awaited Cumbrian break.
