The cottage

Crummock View is a semi-detached cottage, situated within the charming village of Austwick.

This dwelling has been completed with a contemporary design throughout with modern facilities and an elegant neutral colour palette to ensure a fantastic family getaway to North Yorkshire.

Upon entering the property, you are welcomed to a spacious utility room, ideal for kicking off muddy boots before stepping into the sleek kitchen.

This kitchen houses all the necessities you will require during your stay, including beautiful countryside views.

Following this is a formal dining area with comfortable seating for four guests and a cosy sitting room, featuring a warming woodburning stove.

After a day’s adventure, soak within the spacious bath tub within the family bathroom, which also houses a shower over bath, basin and WC, completed with a sense of luxury.

Within the ground floor property, you will also find two delightfully appointed bedrooms, each boasting twin zip/link beds that can be made into king-size double beds if required.

Outside, you can make use of the enclosed garden area, with off-road parking suitable for two cars, a lawned area and a patio area, featuring a BBQ, ideal for summer evenings.

Within a 15-minute walk into the centre of Austwick village, you will locate the local pub and shop, ensuring that your stay is as relaxing as possible.

To fill your time whilst staying here, you will have the Yorkshire Dales National Park to explore, which plays host to waterfalls and ancient woodland, perfect for walking lovers.

Alternatively, Ingleborough Cave is situated within a 10-minute drive, where you can explore the awe-inspiring range of cave formations.

Further afield, is the city of Bradford, housing a good selection of shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants, in addition to attractions including the Brontë Parsonage Museum, Oakwell Hall and the wonderful Lister Park.

Settle 5 miles; Ingleton 5 miles; Skipton 20 miles.

Situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this is arguably one of the finest areas for walking in the region. With limestone pavements and scars, caves and open moors, the area has a wealth of natural interest and there are wonderful cycle tracks and walks on the doorstep. Austwick boasts a local pub serving excellent home cooked meals and a country hotel for something a little more special, as well as a shop and Post Office for visitors’ daily requirements. This quiet village is nicely off the beaten track, yet the market towns of Settle, Kirkby Lonsdale, Skipton and Kendal are all within easy driving distance.
