“Jackie was very friendly, very welcoming, very helpful, made us feel fine about adding another person to the party at the last minute and about ensuring extra parking when we had visitors.”

    ...

The house is very well-furnished: the bed was extremely comfortable (and although listed as 'king-size' is superking), the sofas and dining chairs were also very comfortable. The space to sit out was nice and had the added bonus of views of the farm animals. I found the food preparation space in the kitchen adequate, the fridge and hob fine; as we ate in for several evenings, I'd have been grateful for a couple of large bowls for salad etc. and some heatproof mats to put hot pans on the table but everything else was fine and there were plenty of saucepans, plates, cutlery, glasses and mugs. Because I have trouble with my sight and was trying to read and do some needlework, I would have been grateful for brighter bulbs in the bedside lamps and a little more light upstairs, but most people would probably be OK.
