“A beautiful gem of a cottage in a fantastically quiet and lovely location.”

I was met by Julia, the owner on arrival who showed me around the cottage. It is a lovely cosy place to stay. Bedrooms are nicely sized and we had a great nights sleep. The kitchen had everything we needed to keep us well catered for during the week, from razor sharp knives (A rarity indeed!) to coffee pots and even plastic containers for taking a picnic into the hills. It was easy to make full meals from scratch. The smart TV in the lounge and fast Wi-Fi came in useful when we had bad weather and it was nice to cosy up at the end of the day. There are plenty of walks and places to visit in the local area and the owners have left a comprehensive local guide for you to plan your time. The pub 2 doors away is welcoming and friendly - as is everyone in the village. We would definitely consider visiting thos cottage again.
