Lily's Cottage is situated on the main road, very easy to find and matches the pictures. We parked roadside, which given the time of year was easy to do. We were met by our hosts, Julia and Richard. They helpfully showed us around the house and advised on what was available locally. Additionally, a wealth of literature about the local area was available and all instructions/information left was clear and helpful as we has never visited the area before. Lily's Cottage is warm and inviting , it instantly has a homely feel. It's decorated lovely - modern, clean, with lovely touches throughout the house. The kitchen was well equipped and maintained. Bedrooms were comfortable. Master room was spacious, plenty of storage. 2nd twin bedroom, smaller room, less storage space - enough for what we needed. Might be difficult if a second person was in sharing. Bathroom is modern and well maintained. Back yard is not enclosed, shared walkthrough with neighbours. This was a minor inconvienace with a dog and having to escort him out to the toilet but it wasn't the end of the world. Its worth noting there are no large supermarkets close, so if you wanted a 'big shop it would be easier to do an online delivery for your arrival. Most of the villages around the area have small cooperative shops, including St John's Chapel which is great for necessities. We had one issue whilst in the cottage - a leak in the shower which resulted in a power surge. This was reported and our hosts resolved the issue immediately that day. Overall, we had a lovely relaxing break and would definitely recommend Lilly's Cottage.
