  • "Perfect holiday home in a really good location."

A 2 minute walk from the shops, restaurants etc in Windermere and a 15 min walk down to the lake. The house was ideal. Nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. It has 5 large double rooms all with their own en-suite. Really big dining room table to sit all 10 of us. A lovely sociable space. Big kitchen with American style fridge and separate freezer which was perfect. Its an ex b&b so was really spacious. The outside space was small but ideal. We enjoyed alfresco drinks in the sun. There is only seating for 4 though so bring your own camping chairs! The only downside was there needed to be extra seating in living room and the kitchen isn’t as well stocked as described. Only 1 cup, 1 glass, 1 plate etc per person which was a bit inconvenient but nothing more. If you want to cook a meal you might need couple more pots and pans. It was a bit sparse. We had couple minor problems and the owner text back immediately to resolve, We were really impressed with the speed and it was reassuring. We would Definitely return and would recommend this property.

  • "Lovely house in a great location."

Plenty of space for our group - didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. The lounge and dining area were a great area for everyone to come together. They we’re very clean and modern. Very comfortable and the bottle of wine was a lovely touch. Only areas that could possibly be improved on would be having a few more cleaning supplies in the kitchen and replacing the light in one of the bathrooms on the top floor as it didn’t work. All in all it was the perfect base for our group weekend alway!

Once the designated chef has made a tasty meal, it can be enjoyed at the dining table, which seats all the family, and also offers views of another TV; perfect for a bit of post-dinner unwinding.

On the first floor you will discover, four beautifully decorated bedrooms, a king-size with its own bathroom, a double, a zip/linked super-king-size and a single, all of which have a shower room, ideal for those who prefer a little more privacy, as well as all the rooms having their own TV, perfect for those lazy Sunday mornings!

Climb the stairs again to find two more delightful doubles, both of which also boast en-suites and their own TVs.

All the rooms are fully equipped with complimentary toiletries, Egyptian cotton bedding, hair dryers, and a radio alarm clock for those wanting to rise early to explore.

The property also enjoys its own outdoor spaces, the first being a front enclosed garden, where you can sit out with a cold beverage in the warmer months, whilst the rear garden comprises astro-turf and its own patio area, where you can enjoy a morning cup of steaming coffee before heading out.
