The accommodation is a charmingly decorated refurbished barn which holds its original beams and exposed stonework.
It can be enjoyed by large families or groups at any time of the year and is very child-friendly, including a games room and a ‘children’s snug room’ with an outdoor playing area.
This converted barn and enclosed garden are exceptionally spacious, with 7 bedrooms that sleep 11 people, plus four bathrooms, all spread out over three storeys and furnished in traditional pine and characteristic beams.
The barn also includes a welcome pack from the owners to help guests settle in.

The first floor also holds a second dining area and two comfortable sitting rooms, both with a flat-screen TV and a DVD player: one sitting room has a piano and the other with a PlayStation 2 and a choice of games.
The property includes a patio with garden furniture and a barbeque, a wooden play area including swings, a slide and plenty of private parking.
The property enjoys a delightful view of Farleton Fell and the expansive countryside, which provides many leisurely opportunities such as walking or cycling along the public paths.

About the location
Kendal 9 miles.
An attractive market town, Kirkby Lonsdale is situated in the heart of the Lune Valley, midway between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. The town was mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086, and holds a 13th century Market Charter. Nowadays, Thursday is market day, a perfect opportunity for visitors to explore the variety of distinctive shops in the town, or the many 17th and 18th century buildings which still stand. The town was also a finalist for the High Street of the Year Award in 2016. This part of the Lune Valley was a favourite haunt of the artist Turner, and was made famous by Ruskin – his "view" of the valley is still spectacular. The medieval Devil’s Bridge spans the river, and the quiet country lanes are ideal for exploring by car, bike, or even horse. There are three golf courses nearby, as well as tennis, riding, fishing and a variety of riverside and country walks, making the area an ideal location for a break, whatever time of year.
