  • "A very nice cottage, with everything you need!"

    I totally recommend it!

  • "Sofa and bed uncomfortable, very poor WiFi reception, tv signal kept breaking up making watching tv untenable."

Very little storage and the small cupboard available smelt of damp. Unfortunately would not recommend this cottage but a great area for walking.

  • "Rose Cottage was ideal for us."

Comfortable, very well equipped and perfectly situated for the things we like to do - we loved it. We enjoyed a good few days biking and walking along the canal, only a couple of minutes away and in the evenings excellent pubs and restaurants were just a few minutes walk. We did choose to stay in for dinner on some nights, and Rose Cottage had absolutely everything we needed to relax and enjoy that. Any questions we had were promptly and positively dealt with by the owner - a faultless experience. A bonus for us was that we could visit our grandkids a few minutes drive away in Earby, but really we would recommend Rose Cottage to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing break with active pursuits close at hand. Perfect - we really look forward to returning.

  • "A lovely cosy cottage in a pretty little village."

Clean, tidy, lots of information, and a wonderful welcome pack on arrival. All the nice touches you would like to make the holiday special. Nearby shops, pub, canal side cafe and takeaway, and public footpath network up into the hills around the village providing very pleasant walking. Easy access by road to Skipton, and on into the Yorkshire Dales, and the beautiful Bronte village of Haworth is a 30 minute drive away. All in all, a great holiday location if you are looking for a bit of peace and quiet.

  • "A really lovey and well cared for cottage."

Even thought it didnt come with parking you could load and unload the car next to the property and then park by the green without any issue at all. Quiet, warm and homely. Highly recommended.

  • "Lovely little cottage which has been lovingly refurbished with care and attention to detail."

Small and cosy with lots of character and ample space for the three of us. Spotlessly clean with many extras such as bathroom and kitchen essentials. A surprise welcome pack in the fridge was gratefully received and a nice touch. Would stay here again and highly recommend.

  • "What a wonderful cottage, we feel lucky to have been the first people to have experienced a stay here."

Mel has thought of everything we would have needed even including local information in the books provided which we thought was so helpful. The extra touches of a few "essential" supplies was so lovely too. We have had a perfect time
