I would highly recommend it, the spa and sauna were fabulous adding that extra special touch , the house itself is beautiful so much space, there was 23 of us and there was more than enough space, I cannot thank Diane and her team for giving us a weekend I will never forget.

Been here twice now and will definitely be going back, plenty of space and plenty for the kids to do in the games room or outside. The hot tub and sauna are brilliant along with all the houses facilities. I would 100% recommend. We'll be back!!

  • "What a wonderful property, a rare find to find such a luxurious LARGE property."

The quality of the fixtures and fittings and facilities was brilliant. The 18 seater hot tub was so special and truly enhanced the experience. Special thanks to the housekeeper too who made us feel comfortable and welcome at the start. There are no negatives, but just to let you know for feedback, we could have done with more tea towels and a few more bins (in bedrooms) !! Otherwise, Thank you for making this property available for people to use and celebrate their special occasions!

Thank you very much for taking your time to write your fantastic feedback. It was lovely to hear you all enjoyed your stay for your celebrations. And good to hear Susie gave you a great welcome. In regards to the tea towels and more bins in the bedroom , thank you for pointing these things out and I shall bear these issues in mind. Property Owner

  • "The house is lovely, I would say even better than the pictures and description suggests."

We were a group of 22 and there was spare space. The coach house is pretty self contained allowing an area for the teenagers to hang out while the adults were in the main house. A perfect venue for a NYE break.

Thank you very much Chris for your fantastic feedback. It's much appreciated. Glad you found the house to be better than the photos! And that the spacious rooms / areas met everyone's needs. Property Owner

  • "The house is beautiful and the setting lovely."

The hot pool was a big hit with all our guests, the games room and cinema room too. It was a great place for a family and friends reunion after being apart during the pandemic, for a 70th and 2 x 40th birthday party. The countryside around was gorgeous too. We found lots to do. 'Climbed' Pendle Hill 2 of our party kayaked through the long canal tunnel. Did a treasure hunt in Skipton, amongst other things. Found plenty to entertain us in the house and pool on the 2 days it was a bit rainy. Rest of the week we had great weather for walking etc. Just about every bit of equipment you could think of was provided. Highly recommend it.

  • "We throughly enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor facilities at Moorlands."

Our extended family of 18 enjoyed the games room and cinema room and loved the very big jacuzzi and the sauna too. The gardens are well kept and perfect for children to explore and play games. This is a very comfortable and well appointed house. The views from Moorlands are stunning and there is plenty to enjoy further afield; Pendle Hill, the nearby canal for walks, Skipton, Thornton Hall farm and more.

  • "My family and had the most magical time at Moorlands as your inaugural guests- from the sauna, hot tub, games room, movie room to the brand new …."

Everything! Every single detail was thought of but in top spec style. We all made memories there that are so very special as was our mum’s 70th. We were supposed to be in the Algarve you see, all 18 of us, and one might think we lost out there.. but no, we WON, we all won by stumbling upon the utopian paradise that is Moorlands, Foulridge. God bless you for making it amazing xx

About the location

FOULRIDGE

Pendle 0.4 miles; Burnley 8 miles; Yorkshire Dales National Park 19.2 miles.

Foulridge is a small village and civil parish resting in the Pendle district of Lancashire and once part of the township of the ancient parish of Whalley. Now, the village is known for its stopping point on the Leeds and Liverpool canal, and sits within easy reach of the popular town of Skipton. Steeped in history, the village plays host to a number of attractions such as The Old Tailor's Cross, which tells two romantic tales, the first being of a Royalist tailor for Cromwell's troops, the second legend ties it to an old love story of Margaret Bunard who waited by the cross for her husband to return from the Civil War. Another notable attraction is the Foulridge Mile Tunnel, which was started in the 1780s and completed in 1796, a fantastic achievement for the time, the tunnel stands strong to this day and is popular among canoeists for being the longest canal tunnel in the UK open to canoes. Scenic car journeys will take you to more picturesque locations; heading north, you will reach the Yorkshire Dales National Park to enjoy an abundance of walking and cycling routes, and heading south, the city of Burnley offers a good selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés to keep you entertained.
