The property

Nestled in the charming village of Gargrave, Riverstone Cottage is an idyllic nineteenth century cottage that sits within a row of striking stone-built terraced cottages.

Within reaching distance of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this humble abode is an ideal base for walkers and cyclists who want to explore the very best the region has to offer.

With incredible attention to detail, the sitting room is immaculately dressed with exposed wooden beams, stylish sofas and a characterful woodburning stove giving you the warmth that you need after a day out in the countryside.

The rustic kitchen/diner has been well-appointed with a selection of quality appliances to use at your own leisure, as you cook up a tasty evening meal for the whole group to enjoy.

Heading upstairs you will find the two restful bedrooms made up of a king-size and a twin, decorated with lovely bed linens and served by an elegant family bathroom boasting a corner shower over bath and Metro tiles, finishing off the stylish interior of the cottage.

The sophistication of the property continues to the outside, with a small patio for you to sit and relax outdoors, as you indulge in a mouth-watering meal alfresco-style.

At the centre of the village, guests will be spoilt for choice with a selection of pubs, shops and cafés to choose from.

It also proves to be a superb access point for people wanting to explore North Yorkshire as the charm-filled market towns of Skipton and Settle are nearby with their pretty architecture and lists of things to see and do.

Enjoy an interactive tour of Thornton Hall Country Park with a bustling working farm, or delight in a scenic journey through the countryside on the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway.

Embark on an awe-inspiring hike through the Yorkshire Dales, crossing the Stepping Stones of Bolton Abbey to The Strid Ancient Woodland and discover the magnificent Parcevall Hall Gardens.

Head to the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and see the National Trust owned Brimham Rocks, or spend quality time with your loved ones on a day out to Kilnsey Park.
