  • "Property was amazing, very (very) clean and very well maintained."

It was absolutely fabulous and we really enjoyed our stay. I couldn’t fault any aspect of the property, it’s cleanness or it’s facilities…. Thank you very much

  • "The cottage was absolutely stunning - I met the owner and was able to tell her myself."

The housekeeper also deserves praise for the spotless condition. If there is any little niggle and it is a minor one - it is the feather pillows. We would have preferred hypo-allergenic ones. But will simply bring our own next time. Other than that it was perfect. We would definitely stay again and would highly recommend it.

  • "The property was fabulous, clean and fantastically well equipped."

The location is ideal, but it is remote, so you have to plan accordingly. The remoteness is not at all a negative, it is just an observation.

Brilliant support. Very clean and well maintained. The hot tub was excellent. Lots of effort to be CV ‘clean’. Thank you. Would definitely book again.

  • "The Dairy Gill head was beautiful, we had a lovely week stay here."

Great communication from the owners which made our stay perfect. Kids loved the hot tub in the garden and was checked every day by the lovely lady. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed. The perfect stay for a family wanting to explore the Lake District.

  • "This was a fantastic property for our family holiday."

The quality of the fixtures and fittings were excellent and the hot tub was well used and relaxed us all after a day walking and exploring the area. Angela who looks after the arrangements was such a pleasure to deal with. Nothing was too much bother and responded promptly to queries we had. Angela and her team clean the property which we found spotless and was so reassuring given the times we live in with COVID. Lots of local information was available which we put to good use. The waterfall trail at Ingleton was a must do as well as a visit to Kirkby Lonsdale, both within easy driving distances. High Bentham was a fifteen minute walk and the Black Bull and Coach House provided good food and drinks at very reasonable prices. All in all this was a much needed holiday that did not disappoint. A small maintenance issue with the rear access sliding door lock was raised for the owner to attend to but would highly recommend this property and likely to book it again in the future.

The town boasts an annual agricultural show, with handicraft, horticulture and livestock competitions, which dates back to the 19th century. In addition to this is the annual Carnival and funfair, entertaining a thriving community with workshops, music and many fundraising events. High Bentham has an array of public houses and eateries to choose from, and the railway station sits on the Leeds to Morecambe line.
