Heading up to the first floor, you will find the master bedroom with its iron-framed king-size bed.
The second bedroom provides zip/link twin beds that can accommodate a variety of groups, and features a sash window seat, overlooking the village green and beyond.
Both beds are completed with Egyptian cotton bed linen for a real touch of luxury.
To the front is an idyllic south-facing patio area, ideal for sitting out and taking in the village and the charm of Swaledale.
There is also a great village pub just 2 minutes walk away.
This is a fantastic base for walkers, from a stroll along the river to a climb up Gunnerside Gill.
There is a fish and chip van that arrives in the village on a Friday night and Ghyllfoot Tea Room.
Situated in a prime location for touring around the area, this cottage is just a short drive from the market towns of Hawes, Leyburn and Richmond.
Reeth, Aysgarth Falls, Semerwater and Hardraw Force are all nearby and well worth a visit.
