I think 2 single beds would be an improvement as not all couple want to sleep in the same bed. The couple who own the cottage were lovely. A welcome basket was left for us and 2 Easter eggs. The cottage is set in a lovely part of the world and we loved the walks in the forest with the dogs

Hi Christine and Nicola, I'm glad you and your daughter enjoyed your welcome basket and Easter Eggs, and your walks down in the forest with your dogs. I am sorry about the freezer situation, but in the description of our cottage it does only say 'fridge' (with ice compartment). We have found having a double bed has been ok with previous guests, and have just recently replaced it with the new feature double bed - photographs and description in the property details describe this also. Too many accommodation providers are installing trendy high sided baths that are not safe for so many visitors. Everything was gleaming clean. We liked the parking inside the gate and the pretty garden that was secure for our dog who enjoyed his daily walks nearby. The whole area has so much to offer with nearby coffee house and eateries... The owners are so welcoming and provided treats for both us and our dog so we have no hesitation in recommending!

It was cosy and and warm, the owners were close by for anything we needed and the surrounding space is perfect for dog walks right from your front door. I had read that there are some WiFi issues which didn’t concern us too much, but it did mean that watching any TV was challenging as it just wouldn’t stream properly. There were also a few bits that we didn’t bring as we’d assumed they might be at the cottage like shower gel, and milk but we were able to go out and get those and to be fair they had left a couple of small bottles of Prosecco and some dog treats for buddy. We’ll definitely be back.
