Set back off the road in the heart of Higher Bentham, the shops, cafes and good pubs with excellent food are all within less than 5 minutes walk! We enjoyed a local walk up to Big Stone and Ingleborough Cave and Nature Trail which is beautiful and all on Lynne's recommendations. A trip to nearby Ingleton is a must too and sitting in the cottage's back garden relaxing and enjoying the last days of summer. This really is a special part of the world and the cottage was the perfect beginning and end to every day. We'll be back.
