The property

Ideally located in Windermere, just a short walk from the amenities of both the towns of Windermere and Bowness, lies this characterful, terraced cottage.

Combine this with the pleasing interior of the cottage and you have the perfect base for a family or group of friends looking to explore the wonders of the Lake District National Park.

Upon entering the property, you will find yourself in a hall area with plenty of space for storing any jackets and coats.

On your right is a door leading to a sitting room and dining area, a bright and airy space lit by the large bay window at the front of the property.

The sitting area is furnished with comfortable sofas arranged around a feature marble fireplace with wood burning stove.

At the other end of the room is the dining area, a sociable space with views over the back garden.

To the rear of the property is a split-level kitchen, with a small seating level at ground level and the cabinets and appliances a few steps below.

The kitchen is a contemporary affair but fits perfectly with the period features of the cottage.

Down a further flight of stairs is a handy WC and basin, as well as a utility room with washing machine and space to dry clothing.

Upstairs are three appealing bedrooms; two with double beds and a further single bedroom.

There is also a family bathroom with a double-ended bath, perfect for soaking in after a hard day's fell walking.

The garden can be accessed through a side door in the kitchen.

This leads to an enclosed yard area, with a gate that subsequently leads to a further unenclosed patio area through a communal access route.

The pretty patio area is furnished and features a number of pleasant plants and greenery, offering a lovely spot for relaxing together in the afternoon sun.

The towns of Windermere and Bowness-on-Windermere are only a short walk away, both of which offering a number of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs, as well as various other amenities.

Offering a fantastic location and beautiful accommodation, this property is ideal for a family or group of friends wanting a Lakeland getaway.
