    Relaxing, comfortable and well appointed. Plenty of space, location good, parking can be an issue if neighbours park outside and road narrow for access, but would certainly stay again. Not far from Grange, and South Lakes.

  • "The lounge area wasn’t fully clean, chocolate on the sofa and food/crisps on the rug."

    Issue with wet towels on arrival but spoke to the owner straight away and the problem was resolved.

  • "Everything was 100% !"

    Everything was there for every need , it was a delight to work in the kitchen , the rooms were spacious and beautifully furnished. The bedrooms were gorgeous and the beds very comfortable. It was in all a home you didn’t want to leave !! My granddaughter’s are already planning their next trip !

Boasting a tasteful interior, enclosed garden and well-equipped facilities, Ashwood Cottage invites families and their canine companions for a memorable escape to Cumbria.

Head inside and prepare delicious meals together in the large kitchen/diner, hosting all the essentials for a week away, before cosying up in the lounge, complete with a Smart TV, underfloor heating and a woodburning stove for that extra touch.

Find the cloakroom for convenience, or head upstairs to the bathroom for a freshen up.
