Tucked away on the outskirts of the peaceful village of Rimington near Clitheroe, this charming upper floor apartment the Granary, is in a renovated stable, which retains as many of the original features as possible including exposed beams, plus a picture window to take in the view, while sitting comfortably.

Idyllically positioned within the Forest of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and Pendle Hill, Granary makes for the perfect base for a family with children or groups of friends Granary boasts spectacular views of the Bowland Fells & Yorkshire Dales, with the peaks of Ingleborough & Phen-y-Ghent also with Malham Cove in clear view, making this a charming landscape.

Kick off your shoes as you step over the threshold and enter into the reception area, which leads on into the delightful open-plan living space, home to a plush seating area gathered in front of the Smart TV, enticing you to put your feet up and unwind as you catch up on your favourite show.

Move to the well-equipped kitchen tucked away at the rear of the sociable space and make use of the modern amenities provided to cook up a storm, gathering together at the dining table to indulge in the fruits of your labour as you recount the days adventurers.

Lace up your walking boots and embark on a two-footed adventure to the summit of Pendle Hill, renowned for its Bronze Age burial site and historical witching trails, or for a more gentle walk, explore the picturesque landscape of the Forest of Bowland, decorated in woodland, peat moorland and open water.

Settled in the Ribble Valley is the thriving market town of Clitheroe, definitely worth a visit, with its magnificent 12th century Normal castle, plethora of specialist shops to rummage around and delicious eateries to fuel your excursions.

Venture further afield to the town of Skipton, where you can test your swing with a round of golf at the 18-hole course, tour the medieval dungeons of Skipton Castle, dating back to the 12th century, or if you time it right, treat yourself to a spot of retail therapy at Skipton Market.

Jump in the car and travel to the town of Settle, steeped in history with its fascinating heritage to unveil from its Neolithic Remains and Roman Camp and you can immerse yourself in the splendour of nature at Flower-filled Meadows.

The town also boasts a Grade I listed castle which also offers a maze and a museum for the children to enjoy. On a rainy day you can visit the Edisford Sports Complex with its swimming pool and football pitch. On the outskirts of Clitheroe there is the historical Brungerley Bridge and the activity-filled Waddow Hall is worth a visit. As well as the Forest of Bowland, the town comes within driving distance of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Nidderdale AONB, a perfect position for you walkers and cyclists.
