Eventhough we were only staying for 3 days we managed to experience so much as well as relax in the hot tub. Would highly recommend this as a place to come and stay!

Spotlessly clean with a most welcoming atmosphere and every need thought of and catered for. I"m afraid we have been spoilt and all other cottages will pale in comparison. A 5 Star +++ Cottage. Our honeymoon was so special and a stay we shall never forget.
“The cottage was without doubt the best one yet.”
Pretty much everything you could want was provided, down to an extension lead and torches in the bedroom. The hot tub was a big bonus! There was also central heating and a wood burning stove for the cooler weather. Would definitely use this property again.
“Having stayed in several accommodations of this type Apple Tree cottage comes to the top of the list.”
The owners (Nicola & Joe) have thought of everything and lovely to chat to and their advice on days out are spot on. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything you need and more for a self catering holiday. The hot tub is perferct for relaxing in at the end of the day after days out and sightseeing. Its location is perfect for a visit to the seaside, lake district and the towns in Cumbria, Lancashire and even West Yorkshire. The Trough of Bowland is beautiful and literally on the doorstep. Real ale drinker ? The Kirkby Lonsdale Brewery @ Royal Barn is a must. Will be back theres so much more to see.
“The hosts were very generous and helpful.”
We enjoyed the package of local goodies and a home made cake to welcome us. Many thoughtful additional extras were provided, like towelling robes, information and maps about local places to visit. Our stay was most enjoyable, comfortable and relaxing.
“Apple Tree Cottage is the most thoughtfully stocked and equipped cottage we have ever stayed in.”

Cleanliness could not be faulted and we will definitely return at some future time. Thank you.
“Lovely area, quiet and peaceful, wonderful cottage, immaculate, lots of lovely extras.”
All credit to the owners, a place that they should be proud of. Great place to relax.
“Theowners are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble!”
“We were the first guests to rent this cottage and it was just lovely!”
Joe and Nicola (the owners) had gone to so much trouble to ensure our stay was the best it could be. The cottage is so well equipped, beautifully furnished, lovely and warm and cosy, and in a gorgeous part of the country! The hot-tub was great to relax in after a long day's walk. We had a lovely time and will certainly recommend it to our friends and family.
