“The cottage was a home from home.”

The decor was modern and very well presented. It had all the things required to have an ideal 5 night break. Scott was very helpful and there is lots of information regarding things to do locally. Being very central in the village it is an ideal base to set up your stay. We will definitely re book to stay again. Couldn't really fault it .

The property

This stunning stone-built cottage is situated in the centre of the pretty village of Ingleton.

Built over 150 years ago, the cottage has been lovingly furnished throughout combining many original features with a modern twist, providing first-class accommodation for couples and small families alike.

Upstairs there is a master bedroom with wall-mounted Smart TV and king-size bed, whilst the second bedroom offers adult bunk beds, plus there is a modern shower room.

Outside to the rear is a decked patio area, ideal for alfresco dining or early evening drinks overlooking the picturesque greenery and impressive Ingleton Viaduct.

Located in the picturesque village of Ingleton, and on the border of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the village offers an array of restaurants, cosy public houses and amenities all within a short walking distance from the cottage.

Ingelton’s Waterfall Trail is a short walk away, whilst White Scar Caves is just a short drive.

There is spectacular woodland scenery and views to be enjoyed a short walk from the doorstep and for children there is an indoor climbing wall, heated outdoor swimming pool in the warmer months, a play park, cycle track, as well as local gift shops and a local pottery centre.

Nearby are Yorkshire’s breathtaking Three Peaks, Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen Y Ghent.

The area is also home to the famous Ribblehead Viaduct on the Settle-Carlisle Railway and within a 10-minute drive you can catch the steam train and enjoy a scenic ride, or you may be lucky enough to catch the spectacular sight of it as it travels over the viaduct.
