Accommodation was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and easy to find. I have never stayed in such a well-equipped holiday home. Very simple to cook meals as the kitchen has everything you would have at home including a washing machine which comes in handy so you don't have washing to do when you get home!

The extra touches were so special, thank you to Mark and Stephanie for the effort you put in to provide such lovely surprises for our 9 year old daughter, from her name on her bedroom door to the lovely craft tray and games. Nothing was too much trouble and the abundance of local information provided was so useful. Heat can be controlled in each individual room so you can have the bedroom cool whilst being cosy in the sitting room. Despite being small, the owners have managed to make it very spacious and comfortable. The couches in the front room are very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped and serviceable. The home baked treats were very welcomed. The owners kept in contact with us from soon after booking and throughout our stay, not intrusively so but enough to make sure everything was ok, I found this really reassuring. The property is well located for many attractions that the area has to offer, within walking distance of Ingleton Falls Walk and around 2 miles to White Scar Caves, both of which we can recommend. For evening Meals, the Masons arms is only a 5 minute walk and is a very busy little pub. It is clear that the owners are professional and care about their guests, small touches like, a pint of milk in the fridge and little notes around the flat with operating instructions for the shower and the heating meant that i didn't have to spend the first two hours reading the manual. Would I return, definitely, i would certainly recommend the property to friends family and colleagues.

As the owners Mark and Stephanie only knew of our arrival the day before we were extremely pleased with the effort they made to accommodate us. They kept in contact by e-mail, text and phone calls and explained exactly what we needed to know in detail to make everything run smoothly. The flat has a lovely layout with a large lounge/diner and 2 good sized bedrooms. It was immaculately clean and had all the necessary things you could ask for to make life easy when away on holiday and included a supply of teabags, coffee, sugar, milk etc. The homemade biscuits on our arrival were delicious and a lovely gesture. We found the noticeboard very useful with local information and a folder with details of various places to explore which was very handy as we did not have anytime to research the surrounding area. We would recommend this flat to anyone as it goes beyond expectations.

The property was clean (I mean spotless), warm and cosy yet modern. My daughter loved having a TV in her room and the TV in the lounge is big enough to enjoy whilst relaxing on an evening. The bathroom is a pleasure to use, the shower gets a big thumbs up from us. The bedrooms are nice sizes and the open plan lounge area is really great space and a good size too. The kitchen is very well stocked and everything works beautifully. The Wifi works everywhere. The owners have left very clear instructions for everything and there's additional local information, guide books and maps which we found most helpful. • "We had seen the photos on the Sykes Cottages website and chose the apartment (3 Old Laundry Mews) as it looked good."

We were shocked at the sheer size of the open plan lounge and kitchen area as it was much bigger and the photos didn’t do it justice. Everything was there, a home from home environment, and all of quality not what you would expect for holiday accommodation. We never actually met the owners but did talk/text/email them and felt all our needs had definitely been met. We felt comfortable because we felt they trusted us with their property whilst providing quality accommodation. The basic intermediate necessities were provided including milk, tea, sugar, toilet rolls etc. As a lovely bonus there was homemade cake and biscuits to welcome us when we arrived and they were scrumptious. The apartment was so homely, comfortable and clean we actually ate in each evening ensuring that we ate healthily whilst gaining plenty of exercise and fresh air in the surrounding areas of Ingleton and the Yorkshire Dales during the day. Not many holidays leave you feeling felling fit and refreshed as our long weekend in Ingleton did. We will definitely revisit in the future and we have already recommended this property to our family/friends and acquaintances.
