  • "We have just enjoyed a weeks holiday at bank house and found it very well equipped and extremely comfortable for six adults."

We particularly enjoyed being able to sit out in the evenings under the covered, heated area. Pretty garden with plenty of comfortable furniture. I would highly recommend Bank House. Ingleton was also lovely with good pubs etc a couple of minutes walk away.

  • "A fabulous place Ingleton and the location is spot on."

Facilities in the cottage excellent excepting the beds were a little hard! Great base to explore the area of the North York Moors. Some almost on the doorstep. Ingleton had a great bakery and local Coop for provisions too. What more could you ask for? Better mattresses and full size twin beds.

  • "Location of the cottage was great-but you need to be prepared to park away from the cottage most of the time."

One gripe is that there wasn’t a kitchen bin-just a small waste paper bin with no lid-there’s space for a standard bin so I can’t understand why there isn’t one.

We had no problems with parking for two cars. I recommend this place for a family holiday. There is a lot to do in the area.

  • "Had a lovely stay at Bank House during probably the warmest week of the year."

The cottage is in a perfect location in the centre of the village, is very well equipped and because of the weather we made full use of the outdoor facilities including having a BBQ a couple of times. Thought parking would be a problem - but lots of spaces nearby. The kids and dog loved playing in the river and the waterfalls walk. We liked the proximity of the pubs and restaurants. We managed to get a session at the open air pool which was very welcome because of the weather. Overall a great week that was good value and would stay again.
