  • "This was everything we wanted for a long weekend."

    It’s in a great town centre location, handy for shops and restaurants. The apartment is very well equipped - with proper bedroom storage! It’s tastefully furnished and very clean and warm. It was great to have starter supplies of important basics - washing and cleaning materials, tea, coffee and milk etc - and even some welcoming spring flowers. We struggled to work the lounge fire at first as the handset wasn’t working but help was at hand almost immediately. We’d definitely recommend this for anyone without mobility issues.

  • "Excellent location, right in the centre of Kendal."

    Parking is great if a little tight. The property itself was comfortable but starting to look like it needs a bit of cosmetic work in parts. A bit of road noise as it's close to the main road through the centre but it's generally not too bad. Everything you could need is included in the property and it's generally clean. I would recommend this place as convenient for central Kendal and a good base for the Lakes.

    We travelled by train so the location just off town centre and close to public transport was perfect. Milk, coffee and tea bags which were there when we arrived were much appreciated, would definitely recommend and stay again.

    It was just right for us (a couple and teenage son). The kitchen was well equipped for self catering, the apartment was clean and modern throughout, there was wifi and a smart TV. The town was super close and having a designated parking space was perfect! We didn’t meet the hosts in person but check in and out was easy and they communicated well via email.

    Though winding to get to, parking was no issue with great instructions sent. Quiet. Good facilities & very comfortable. Good bedrooms. 1st floor. Only suggested improvement was quality of TV. Was adequate but did go in and out at times. Being able to access internet (you tube, catch up) on TV was good. Wifi was Ok.

    They said turn of Stramongate to the property. There was no vechile access, but only pedestrian access via an alleyway. Access for parking was off New Road. These details were sent by e-mail to me by the owners before the holiday.

    The apartment was incredibly clean, which you could smell as soon as you walked in, and was such a comfortable place to stay for our week in the Lakes. The kitchen was well equipped for self catering and it felt very homely. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. The parking spot (in a courtyard opposite) was easy to get in and out of and felt very safe. We loved it so much we're working out when we can go back! I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Cumbria.

  • "This is a lovely accommodation right in the centre of Kendal."

    The apartment is clean, stylish and exceptionally comfortable, with modern facilities - particularly the very nice kitchen and bathroom. The master bedroom is spacious and features a with a walk-in wardrobe, the bed itself was extremely comfortable and I enjoyed good night's sleep throughout my stay. The second bedroom (unused) also looks cosy and peaceful. Car parking is in an adjacent courtyard and is safe and secure, with a bay dedicated to the property. The yards that house Camden Building give access via alleyways directly into the main town centre and the local shops, pubs and eateries - so an absolutely ideal spot. The owners sent me an email prior to my visit giving me its exact location and parking details, and also left a bottle of wine with a welcome note attached - which was a nice and unexpected surprise. I will most certainly be booking this property again in future and can highly recommend it.

    Access for parking to the rear from new road with one dedicated parking place . The flat it's self one floor up clean decorated to a high standard spacious we only used the main bedroom with king-size bed chest of drawers and a walk in with hanging rail . We picked as a base for discovering the area and were no disappointed . Lots of places to eat practically on the doorstep . I'm sure we will be back in the not to distant future.

    Extremely clean, tidy and has everything you need to having a fantastic time. We stayed for 3 nights and didn’t want to leave, walked into the apartment after receiving very clear instructions on parking and getting into the key safe. Was welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and even nicer touch was the milk in the fridge! Would definitely stay in this apartment again and would give it 10/10! Fantastic location was a bonus as well

The property
