You can wander to the local beaches and enjoy the coastal walks through the fabulous conservation areas nearby.
Being located on the western coast of Cumbria this charming cottage makes an excellent base for visiting the quieter villages of Ravenglass and Gosforth.
Ravenglass is the only estuary village included within the National Park.
The Ravenglass and Eskdale Steam Railway, “Old Ratty”, departs from here taking visitors up to the beautiful Eskdale Valley through what is truly breathtaking countryside.
A must for everyone is a trip to Wasdale Head and Wastwater, one of the most spectacular locations in the whole of the county and perhaps the most awe-inspiring of all the lakes.
Surrounded by mountains, Red Pike, Kirk Fell, Great Gable and Scafell Pike, England’s highest mountain, the area is just waiting for you to visit.
After a busy day exploring, your cosy cottage will be waiting for you, and no doubt a refreshing drink and delicious meal at the local pub, which is next door to the cottage, is a superb way to round off your day.
