The interior is done to an exceptional standard throughout and it is surprisingly spacious (could fit all 10 of us comfortably and without feeling on top of each other). There are a few fantastic perks, like the hot tub, log fire (with everything pre-prepared for us; we just needed to set it up and light!), the sonos system, the AGA and the pool table. It was also very appreciated that there was more than sufficient supplies of utensils, towels, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee etc. I would highly recommend this house to anyone and as a testament to that, on check-out, the group were discussing trying to book the house again next year and make it an annual trip away.

The property

A wonderful farmhouse situated close to the village of Slaidburn, a perfect blend of modern and traditional living, wrapped in 270 degree panoramic views of Pendle Hill, Grindleton Fell and Waddington Fell with a hot tub to admire it all from.

Designed as the perfect holiday home, this beautiful retreat is suited for all the family, with its diverse selection of bedrooms, and heart-warming interior guaranteed to bring you a pleasant stay all-year-round.

Arrive into the lovely lounge areas, matched with leather sofas and a cosy ambience that sets the scene for a night in front of the woodburner.

The beautiful kitchen has everything you need to prepare those home-cooked meals, including lovely extras such as an AGA range cooker and built-in appliances for a luxury feel.

Just across from here lies the dining area, perfect for a social evening in the company of your loved ones, with seating for up to eighteen people.

The utility area and cloakroom complete the ground floor.

Up from the delightful staircase, you will find a master bedroom, housing a dressing room, Juliet balcony, and an exquisite en-suite bathroom.

Three additional bedrooms continue the formation comprising of two doubles (one with en-suite) and a family room with four singles, tied together with exposed beams and views of the countryside.

A family bathroom is located nearby, centred by a freestanding bath and a walk-in shower, so you can get ready in style.

To relax, you can spend a couple of hours in the gated garden directly opposite the property, or wander into Slaidburn.

Opposite the main property is an annexe building, which has more spacious rooms for larger family gatherings.

Offering three bedrooms: one ground floor double, one first floor king-size with an en-suite shower room and one family room with a double and two singles, with an en-suite bathroom, with the choice of a bath or walk-in shower to prepare for your day in style.

The ground floor also houses a modern kitchen, with all the appliances you could need for a weekend away in the countryside.

With a dining area with seating for six people and a cosy sitting room with a wonderful corner sofa and large TV.

An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, to the north, the landscape rises to the fells, moors and picturesque valleys of the Dales, while to the south are the wetlands of the Ribble Valley.
