  • "We had the nicest 5 days away for my partners birthday."

It had everything that we needed and more. We visited the local milk hut and got the most gorgeous caramel shortcake and strawberry milkshake for a sweet treat. We honestly couldn't have asked for more from the owners.. I messaged them a few days before we were due to arrive and they replied straight away & were so helpful. Thank you so much. We'll be back :)

  • "The cottage was great with modern facilities and was perfect for our stay."

The tarn area across the road from the cottage was ideal for short dog walks. The village is very quiet but it is a short drive to access good facilities in Roose. Ulverston is also quite close and was a pleasant town to visit with reasonably priced parking. The beach areas nearby to Leece were fantastic for dog walking. We will certainly consider Jasmar Cottage for any return trips to the area.

  • "Lovely property, what more could two people need?"

Beautiful decor, property is an excellent base for discovering the area. A proper little gem!

  • "Very clean, organised, well equipped cottage, excellent appliances & a well designed bathroom / shower room."

Efficient remote controlled heating system with addition of a log burner (fuel supplied). Location perfect for accessing the coast in both directions especially by rail (station just down the road) & essential shops, pubs all close by. The two cherries on the cake - a smart TV that had actually been set up to work immediately rather than having to spend an hour logging in to Apps & it was a welcome change to arrive at a holiday cottage & to not be confronted with an enormous rule book (as is usually the case) - you know, please ensure the saucepan handles are kept at the right angle etc etc.

  • "We returned yesterday from a 4 night stay at Jasmar cottage."

Although we arrived late on Friday we were soon unpacked and settled. This property has been lovingly decorated and furnished, it looks more like a home (not like some of the plain holiday lets available) It was cosy and warm with the real fire lit… great kitchen that was well equipped. Comfortable bed and sofa for chilling in front of the fire. The owners even left us a jug of fresh milk from their herd.. (thanks girls it was delicious

  • "We found the cottage very comfortable, well decorated and very well equipped, especially the kitchen."

All was extremely clean and tidy. The bedroom had plenty of room, including triple wardrobes so plenty hanging space. The bathroom offered both a bath and separate shower. Really lovely place and highly recommended.

Hi Stephen we’re glad you enjoyed your stay and it’s great that you felt so comfortable in your home away from home! Thankyou for leaving our property as you found it when you checked in! We hope to see you again in the future. Thanks Property Owner
