“I think it's important to be clear that the beck in the garden of the cottage is not at all accessible.”

The listing does state that children shouldn't be left alone but the description of it 'tumbling through' the garden made me think at least we could see it. In fact it is a fast moving channel set low between concrete walls - you can hear it, but only with difficulty see it. ...

The listing does state that children shouldn't be left alone but the description of it 'tumbling through' the garden made me think at least we could see it. In fact it is a fast moving channel set low between concrete walls - you can hear it, but only with difficulty see it. Apart from this small quibble, we were extremely happy at Greenacres Cottage- plenty of room, a brilliant wood burning stove, a huge freezer and plenty of crockery and cooking equipment. The location is excellent too. Our large extended family had a wonderful time. Many thanks to the owners for making us so welcome.
